B´ÎÔª Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) receives full accreditation
B´ÎÔª recently received full accreditation status of its Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). The College may now officially award the Master of Science degree and graduating students can sit for the national certification examination administered by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). After successful completion of this exam, students will hold the title: Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) and can then apply for licensure in the United States.
Center for Disability Services presents major gift to B´ÎÔª
On Tuesday, May 31, the Center for Disability Services presented B´ÎÔª with a check for $50,000 to endow a scholarship to be named after the late Eunice Antonucci. The scholarship will be used to support healthcare education at the College.
B´ÎÔª announces Dr. Lynn Ortale as its next president
B´ÎÔª and its Board of Trustees proudly announce the appointment of Lynn Ortale, Ph.D. as its sixth president to begin her role on July 1, 2022.
Dr. Ortale comes to B´ÎÔª with more than three decades of experience in higher education administration in the context of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. For the past 13 years, she has served as Vice President for Student Life at Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph. She is also an adjunct faculty in DeSales University’s higher education administration graduate program in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
B´ÎÔª receives $140K grant for accessibility and counseling services
B´ÎÔª was recently awarded a $140,000 grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation to support and enhance its Accessibility Services Office which serves students with disabilities and learning differences. This news comes as the nation prepares to celebrate Disability Awareness month in March.
