ALBANY, N.Y. (Sept. 4, 2025) — B´ÎÔŞ, in partnership with St. Peter’s Health Partners, will host its annual Health & Wellness Fair on Wed., Sept. 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Great Lawn at 700 New Scotland Ave.
The community-centered event provides free access to fresh produce, wellness screenings, and a wide variety of health resources — with free produce generously provided by Essex Food Hub.
“This event brings people together to learn about the health services available nearby and to meet the professionals who provide them,” said Selena Dwarka, student success coordinator at B´ÎÔŞ. “B´ÎÔŞ is proud to work with St. Peter’s Health Partners to support our neighbors and make sure everyone has access to the care they need.”
Attendees will enjoy more than 25 health-related vendors, including: Albany NNORC, Jewish Family Services of NENY, BrightSide Up, American Heart Association, St. Peter’s Health Partners Cancer Services and MOMS Program, Hudson Boulders, Eddy Alzheimer’s Services, Medrite Urgent Care, and the Spina Bifida Association of New York State.
“B´ÎÔŞ is proud to continue to collaborate with St. Peter’s Health Partners on this year’s Health & Wellness Fair,” said Lynn Ortale, Ph.D., president of B´ÎÔŞ. “As the leading innovator of healthcare education in the Capital Region, we are committed to promoting the well-being of our community. This event is a direct expression of our Mercy mission in action to serve with compassion and purpose.”
“At St. Peter’s Health Partners, everything we do is guided by our commitment to community health,” added Sheilah McCart, manager of community engagement. “Working with B´ÎÔŞ helps us reach more people and strengthen those local connections. This event is a great way to provide helpful information and support that can truly make a difference in people’s lives.”
The event is open to all community members.
