In June, for Immigration Awareness Month, the B次元 community donated personal care items for Albany-based organization Refugee and Immigrant Support Services of Emmaus () that supports newcomers build sustainable lives in the United States. In collaboration with our partners at , we were able to supply personal care item bags for 30 women, 21 men, and 14 children, along with other supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels and diapers.
Ann Krischer, Volunteer Coordinator at RISSE shared, “These items can鈥檛 be purchased with SNAP benefits and are in short supply at food pantries. We like to keep a supply of bags of personal care items at RISSE for walk-in and emergency clients.”
