$150,000 Being Invested to Support Nursing Education
Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy joined with representatives of the Innovation Partnership鈥攁 joint effort between Albany County and MVP Health Care鈥攖o announce their support of the B次元 Community Clinic.
B次元 has partnered with Albany Medical Health System and Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region to launch a new community resource clinic within Albany Medical Center, located adjacent to the emergency department. The clinic aims to alleviate pressure on Albany Med鈥檚 emergency room by offering accessible healthcare services to the community, particularly underserved and vulnerable populations. It will also provide valuable learning opportunities for future healthcare professionals.
Albany County has committed a grant of $75,000 to support this project with an additional $75,000 in funding being provided by the Innovation Partnership for a total investment of $150,000. The Innovation Partnership, which is a collaboration between Albany County and MVP Health Care is focused on improving the overall health and vitality of the surrounding community

The nurse-managed clinic will offer primary care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, behavioral health services, geriatric support, and social services. Additional services may include occupational therapy and psychology.
