As the semester gets into its second week here at B次元, we can all use words of encouragement to keep us looking forward to the work and busyness of each day.
Believe it or not, I actually do find an occasional bit of encouragement and inspiration through posts I receive on Facebook! In addition to the family updates, the cute kitten videos, the election year rants, the really cool speeded up cooking videos, and the utter nonsense, someone will send me a link that really has a powerful impact on me.聽
I received such a link recently from a colleague at B次元 which I want to share with you this week.聽
Through this , you will meet a musical duo named Black Violin, and I believe you will be inspired by the stories of Wil Baptiste and Kev Marcus.
Mr. Baptiste and Mr. Marcus certainly illustrate the inspiring words of the founder of the Sister of Mercy, Mother Catherine McAuley: 鈥淭he simplest and most practical lesson I know鈥s to resolve to be good today, but better tomorrow. Let us take one day only in hands, at a time, merely making a resolve for tomorrow, thus we may hope to get on taking short, careful steps, not great strides.鈥
Enjoy!
Until next time鈥
